It's super easy! Let us take you through the steps below:
Step 1: Pick your product
You can find our full range of products here: Design a Tshirt
Filter your search using the 'Categories' bar on the left hand side to find the right product for you. We have tshirts, hoodies, sweats, mugs, totes, bags, tea towels and many more products for you to choose from!
Step 2: Get designing
Once you have read the description of the product you have selected, key in the sizes (if applicable) you would like and hit START DESIGNING. Click on to the print area you would like to add your design to. Each print area is indicated by an orange box. You can click between the front, back, left and right sleeve using the 'locations' viewer on the right hand side of the design tool.
There are three ways to ad artwork to your product:
ADD DESIGN - This function will allow you to upload any jpeg, eps, png, tif or gif file you have saved on your computer whether it be a logo, photograph or silly saying.
ADD TEXT - Click on this function to add your personalised text to your product. Ensure to press 'enter' if you need your text to be on individual lines. You can update the text colour, and font using the 'formatting' tab in the left panel.
ADD TEAM NAME - This tool is great if you want to add individual names or numbers to your products. Simply key in the correct sizes, and follow the prompts to enter each name and number. Remember that the preview will only show you one name - so we recommend selecting the largest name to ensure it fits within the design area.
Step 3: Check out
Once you are happy with your design all you need to do is hit BUY! You will be prompted to either 'Checkout' or 'Continue Designing.' If you have more shirts to add to your order by all means hit continue. Otherwise head to the checkout to finalise your order. Make sure you read through the 'checkout checklist' as there are some handy tips in there (this can be found on the cart review page).
Feel free to use our 'add instructions' tab to include any specific printing notes in your order.
Changing the size of your image/text:
You can change the size of your image a number of ways. Firstly, you can use the +/- buttons under 'position and size' to grow and reduce your artwork. Secondly, you can drag the artwork in and out at the corner. Lastly, and most accurately is you can double check on the size box above the artwork and key in the exact size you would like.
Moving your image/text:
You can move your image around using your mouse, simply click on the image and hold down whilst you move the image into the position you would like. Alternatively, there is also a navigation tool in the 'position and size' section under image properties. You can use this panel to move the image vertically, horizontally and diagonally.
Our design tool accepts jpegs, pngs, eps, gif and tif files. You want to make sure your file is at least 300dpi with transparency at the desired print size for the best possible print result.
To save your print ready images in Photoshop or Paint, go to File > Save As > PNG. In Illustrator or Draw, you must export your image, go to File > Export > PNG.
If this all sounds like gibberish, then here is a really simple way of checking your artwork.
Open your print file on your computer screen. Grow it to roughly the size you would like it printed. If your image is looking a bit blurry or pixelated, this is how it is going to print. If you are happy with this, fab! Go ahead and upload your design.
If you were wanting it to look a little crisper, we recommend finding another file.
